Connecting SendJim and Jobber – An Easy Guide

Today we are going over the steps to take when you want to connect SendJim and Jobber. They are rather simple to do. So let’s get to it and show you how much easier running your service-based business.

What Exactly is SendJIm?

Sendjim’s a software that is subscription-based, and it’s made for service-type businesses. It provides a marketing tool for direct mailing and lets users send out a variety of marketing items to current clients in their database. It also lets them send it out to their neighbors and the whole neighborhood. These are things such as:

  • Brochures
  • Catalogs
  • Brownies
  • Newsletters
  • Postcards
  • And more

It SendJim also makes it easy to mass email clients. There are templates in the software, or you can even upload templates that you can use.

How Do SendJim and Jobber Work Together?

When you are syncing your contacts in SendJim, Jobber will then sync over their cell phone number, email, and physical address. Whenever you are updating the contact information of a client using jobber, SendJim is also automatically updated.

On the page that says My Address, clients are either going to be shown as a “Prospect” or a “Customer” Prospects are the clients that are in Jobber without an active invoice or job on file. When you create a job for a prospect, it changes that person in SendJim so that they are now a Customer.

From there, you have to make your marketing campaign, known as Activity. This is done in Company Profile>Third Party Integration. You can set up a campaign for direct mail to go out one time, or you can create a campaign with multiple steps that are triggered either when there’s an invoice paid or job scheduled. Select the kind of recipient (neighbor or client) and the kind of materials you’ll want to mail out. You need to be sure that you have chosen to sync the contacts from Jobber to go to SendJim. That way you know that the contact information of the client already will be inside the account,

After you’ve created the campaign and the chosen Activity’s completed, go to your Reports page in SendJim to check on your campaign status.

Another thing that you can do is to record Voicemail bombs that you can send to current clients. However, this only can be sent to those with a mobile phone number.

How to Connect SendJim and Jobber

So, how do you connect SendJim and Jobber? Once you’ve set up a SendJim account, choose Company Profile. This will be on your left-hand menu. There you will see a third-party integration tab. That’s where you select Jobber. Then, choose ‘Connect Jobber’. This will cause a pop-up to appear. If you aren’t currently logged in with Jobber, you will first have to put in your password and username. Then choose “Accept”.

That’s all there is to connecting SendJim and Jobber. Pretty simple, right? There are two last notes about SendJim – you can only use it if you’re in the United States. You can also only connect one account with SendJim and Jobber.
