- Robert Cain
05:45 – 05:47
Daniel, I see that you’re in here, let me know when you can hear me.
- Daniel
05:51 – 05:51
I can hear you.
- Robert Cain
05:52 – 05:53
Alright, great.
- Robert Cain
05:53 – 05:59
Looks like it was a little bit difficult to get people on today after this Valentine’s day hangover, but that’s OK.
- Robert Cain
06:00 – 06:06
That just means that I’ll be able to spend a little bit more time with you, and answer maybe some additional questions that you may have.
- Robert Cain
06:07 – 06:09
But let’s go ahead and get started if you’re ready.
- Robert Cain
06:14 – 06:20
All right, so, welcome to the RBS first workshop of our training series.
- Robert Cain
06:20 – 06:32
Over the course of the next three weeks, we’re gonna dive into some little hacks that we’ve uncovered in working with service autopilot, and, you know, I hope that you can glean from this.
- Robert Cain
06:32 – 06:39
We’re gonna start today with that, with a marketing campaign that I’ve developed over the last week.
- Robert Cain
06:39 – 06:41
Just based off of something that I’ve used in the past.
- Robert Cain
06:41 – 06:49
And this is really all about targeting your ideal customer for this spring marketing campaign.
- Robert Cain
06:49 – 06:56
And so, I’m going to give you some content here that you’re going to be able to utilize and download and you’re free to follow along with me.
- Robert Cain
06:56 – 07:11
Daniel, I’m also going to go ahead and share the recording after, along with links, and, and various ways to download the content that I’ve provided so that you can access the after the training here, so.
- Daniel
07:12 – 07:12
Excellent.
- Daniel
07:12 – 07:13
I’m gonna go.
- Robert Cain
07:13 – 07:14
I’m gonna go ahead and share my screen.
- Robert Cain
07:17 – 07:18
Despair at the moment.
- Robert Cain
07:20 – 07:22
Let me know when you can see that.
- Robert Cain
07:24 – 07:25
Alright, great.
- Robert Cain
07:25 – 07:32
So, like I said, this is kind of a more of a, a personal type meeting.
- Robert Cain
07:32 – 07:40
Why don’t you tell me what you hope to accomplish may be talking about some of your strengths and weaknesses and in service autopilot and kind of what you’re looking to get out of that training.
- Daniel
07:42 – 07:51
Yes, so, I’m, I’m a service autopilot navis I just joined a company that uses service autopilot.
- Daniel
07:52 – 08:12
Um, we are in facilities services, so primarily we do commercial cleaning contracts on a monthly schedule, give a certain number of budgeted hours, and then we also do things like snow removal, which is kind of an on demand or event based service.
- Daniel
08:13 – 08:16
So we’re looking for ways to take.
- Daniel
08:16 – 08:16
Yeah.
- Daniel
08:19 – 08:35
Take better advantage of what service autopilot has to offer and what some people like yourself have found to be ways that can be good for things like marketing, estimates, leads.
- Daniel
08:35 – 08:37
And the way to convert those leads appropriately.
- Daniel
08:38 – 08:50
None of which we’re really doing right now right now are primarily focused on the, um, setting up clients’ jobs and then the accounting aspects.
- Daniel
08:51 – 08:55
But, the CRM aspect is something that we want to learn more about, in general.
- Daniel
08:57 – 09:01
And so, I’m coming in, and I have a few marketing campaigns in mind.
- Daniel
09:03 – 09:05
One of which would be.
- Daniel
09:07 – 09:10
Reaching out to our existing parroted company clients.
- Daniel
09:12 – 09:19
I’ll do my own research on other properties that they own, that we don’t service, and then we’ll reach out to them.
- Daniel
09:19 – 09:24
Trying to get some of the properties that we don’t service yet.
- Daniel
09:24 – 09:31
Which I think could be a good thing to use service autopilot for the actual e-mail part, perhaps some other things as well.
- Daniel
09:32 – 09:37
And then we’re also I’m going to eventually do.
- Daniel
09:40 – 09:46
An e-mail marketing campaign trying to get back customers that we lost either.
- Daniel
09:47 – 09:58
We lost bids for, or they were clients of us, and then, you know, for example, a condo association came in and said that they wanted a cheaper company.
- Daniel
09:59 – 10:17
Usually it’s good for us to reach out about six months after we lose the contract when they can see perhaps that the new company that they want, but it doesn’t have the same quality of service, and send out reminders or or e-mails to those folks saying if they’d like to switch back.
- Daniel
10:17 – 10:19
So those are just a couple of examples.
- Robert Cain
10:21 – 10:21
Great.
- Robert Cain
10:21 – 10:22
What.
- Daniel
10:22 – 10:30
We don’t have is the actual automations package that service autopilot delivers.
- Daniel
10:30 – 10:34
So, I don’t know ask that affects your presentation, at all.
- Daniel
10:34 – 10:36
It looks like Erick has joined us well, so.
- Robert Cain
10:38 – 10:38
Yes.
- Daniel
10:38 – 10:38
Hey Eric.
- Robert Cain
10:39 – 10:40
Welcome to the group.
- Robert Cain
10:40 – 10:40
Yeah, definitely.
- Robert Cain
10:41 – 10:41
Yeah.
- Robert Cain
10:41 – 10:46
So we’ll cover a couple of different things and I hope that that this will help to serve.
- Robert Cain
10:48 – 10:55
Open, open that door into what the capabilities of the service of autopilot are, very automation centric.
- Robert Cain
10:57 – 11:01
So, you know, we can circle back on that after the training.
- Robert Cain
11:01 – 11:02
If you’d like.
- Robert Cain
11:02 – 11:04
I’ll send over my contact information.
- Robert Cain
11:05 – 11:06
But yeah.
- Robert Cain
11:06 – 11:08
It looks like we have John that just joined as well.
- Robert Cain
11:08 – 11:12
So, really appreciate you guys joining today and we were just now getting started.
- Robert Cain
11:13 – 11:22
But, yeah, Daniel, with talking about some of his goals and in creating a spring marketing campaign.
- Robert Cain
11:22 – 11:27
And I hope some of that information will help you guys out will help give you a little bit of direction.
- Robert Cain
11:27 – 11:31
But, let’s just go ahead and get started.
- Robert Cain
11:31 – 11:41
So, like I said, the purpose of this campaign is really to target your, like, specific customers that are, that are basically your target customer.
- Robert Cain
11:41 – 11:41
Right.
- Robert Cain
11:41 – 11:46
And I’m not sure if you guys have been able to deep dive into service autopilot too much.
- Robert Cain
11:46 – 11:51
But I want to start with with essentially just the map of the automation.
- Robert Cain
11:51 – 11:54
So I’m going to go ahead and go back to my main screen here.
- Robert Cain
12:01 – 12:02
All right, so.
- Robert Cain
12:05 – 12:08
In order to access automations, guys, you see here, top tab right here.
- Robert Cain
12:08 – 12:19
We’re gonna go to the marketing drop-down and click on automation and I’m gonna go ahead and provide you the details to download this and you guys can follow along, but this is essentially where we’re gonna get started.
- Robert Cain
12:19 – 12:27
If you guys want to follow along with me right now go ahead and you’re gonna go into your marketplace here.
- Robert Cain
12:30 – 12:32
So you’re going to go to marketplace right now.
- Robert Cain
12:35 – 12:39
And I’ve just uploaded that RBS training spring marketing campaign.
- Robert Cain
12:40 – 12:48
If you want to view it, you can click view and I’m going to chat everybody the download code to get this automation.
- Robert Cain
12:53 – 13:01
And let me know if you guys, if you guys can see that download code, I just chatted out to everybody, in the room here, I’ve got a popup problem.
- Robert Cain
13:01 – 13:04
I’ll go ahead and click that later but let me know if you guys got that.
- Daniel
13:08 – 13:09
Yeah, I see the code.
- Robert Cain
13:09 – 13:10
Ok, great.
- Robert Cain
13:10 – 13:13
So I’m gonna go ahead and punch in that code to download the automation.
- Robert Cain
13:13 – 13:18
And again, if you guys want to follow along, it’ll probably be the most useful.
- Robert Cain
13:18 – 13:24
I’m Daniel, I know that you said you don’t have automation to activate it yet, but at least you can download the content that gets you started.
- Robert Cain
13:24 – 13:35
If you have any trouble after you’ve activated automation, that you decided to do that then we can re send this information over to you so you can get it and get you squared away, but.
- Robert Cain
13:35 – 13:37
This is essentially what we’re going to start.
- Robert Cain
13:37 – 13:38
We’re going to download this automation.
- Robert Cain
13:38 – 13:51
I’ve already gotten on my system so I’m not going to do it again to duplicate it, but once you get it, we’re going to activate or access to certain content that, I’ve included Wittman that, the RBS training right here.
- Robert Cain
13:52 – 13:56
So, the first thing that we’re going to start with here is it is it’s automation?
- Robert Cain
13:56 – 13:58
Am I just wanna make sure you guys can tell I’ll see my screen?
- Daniel
14:03 – 14:03
Yeah.
- Robert Cain
14:03 – 14:04
So, great.
- Robert Cain
14:04 – 14:11
So what we’re gonna do is this is essentially the trigger for this first E blast.
- Robert Cain
14:11 – 14:17
And I’m going to go ahead and open up, open up the other document that’s associated with it.
- Robert Cain
14:25 – 14:32
If you guys wanna follow along, I’m searching for this document here and I went ahead and.
- Robert Cain
14:35 – 14:38
Label that are spring marketing campaigns, so you’re gonna go ahead and open that up.
- Robert Cain
14:41 – 14:51
And this is a, this, again, this is a campaign that I, I’ve created to help target your your top zip codes within your area.
- Robert Cain
14:51 – 15:00
And I’m going to walk you through like the, the process to deploy this, but also kind of my thoughts behind how, like, what this marketing strategy looks like.
- Robert Cain
15:01 – 15:04
So you can see in the document settings, I’ve labeled everything.
- Robert Cain
15:04 – 15:07
You can, you can modify this, this is really your subject line.
- Robert Cain
15:07 – 15:13
So if you decide you want to change the promotion or modify this campaign in any way you are, you’re definitely free to do so.
- Robert Cain
15:14 – 15:29
But essentially, we’re developing a March media campaign to offer your existing clients, 50% off mowing services through the month of March, and I’m gonna talk to you about the reasoning behind that and really the benefits in doing that.
- Robert Cain
15:30 – 15:33
So I’m gonna go ahead and edit that document so you can see it.
- Robert Cain
15:33 – 15:36
I’m going to go back to the automation, right here.
- Robert Cain
15:37 – 15:46
And you can see the the initial rules for the trigger of this automation are accessed by opening up, the sequins right here.
- Robert Cain
15:47 – 15:50
So this is our initial mark, our initial marketing e-mail.
- Robert Cain
15:50 – 15:52
And I’ve got your description label in here.
- Robert Cain
15:52 – 15:57
I am going to restrict entry to all active clients and open lead.
- Robert Cain
15:58 – 16:02
And then we’re going to trigger this on an honest start date.
- Robert Cain
16:02 – 16:09
So what I’m going to do is I’m going to uh run on day right here, and you guys can check.
- Robert Cain
16:09 – 16:09
It is.
- Robert Cain
16:10 – 16:17
This is really what I recommend is doing that to run on date over a period of time, so as not to slow the system down.
- Robert Cain
16:18 – 16:22
But essentially, it’s really one of the easiest triggers to activate.
- Robert Cain
16:23 – 16:26
This is if this is really how?
- Robert Cain
16:26 – 16:27
How are you going to end up?
- Robert Cain
16:27 – 16:28
Launching this e-mail campaign?
- Robert Cain
16:28 – 16:28
Is?
- Robert Cain
16:28 – 16:32
Is creating it through that this run on day right here.
- Robert Cain
16:32 – 16:42
So I might go back and forth a little bit but this is the this is essentially like like my process in terms of like how I’m building the blast and thinking about this stuff.
- Robert Cain
16:42 – 16:44
So if I bounce around quite a bit, are you guys have questions?
- Robert Cain
16:44 – 16:46
Feel free to interject.
- Robert Cain
16:47 – 16:53
I know I’m happy to answer those, but ultimately, I really want you guys to really get full visibility into like my process.
- Robert Cain
16:53 – 16:57
And I tend to multitask quite a bit as well as I’m thinking about this automation.
- Robert Cain
16:57 – 17:04
And then, also, because I’ve pre-built this might be jumping around a little bit as well but I really want you guys to get the most out of it.
- Robert Cain
17:04 – 17:04
Though.
- Robert Cain
17:04 – 17:07
If you do have questions, feel free to interrupt me at any time.
- Robert Cain
17:08 – 17:10
So I’m gonna go ahead and save this sequence.
- Robert Cain
17:11 – 17:14
The next thing that I want to do is make sure that the device is going to be going to the right people.
- Robert Cain
17:14 – 17:17
So I’m going to show a different screen here.
- Robert Cain
17:20 – 17:29
So if you guys can see my safari, I’ve gone ahead, and I’ve opened up clients to search my existing clients through the CRM.
- Robert Cain
17:30 – 17:34
And the first filter that I’ve activated is this one.
- Robert Cain
17:34 – 17:36
This is the first filter that actually popped up.
- Robert Cain
17:37 – 17:45
And what this filter allows me to do a search based off of specific parameters that are, that are within the client profile.
- Robert Cain
17:45 – 17:59
So, you see, the address is located in here, and since I know what I want, look what my top zip codes are in my area, I’m gonna go ahead and type in that specific zip code that’s available too.
- Robert Cain
18:00 – 18:05
That that, that houses basically all those clients that, that I really want to target with this campaign.
- Robert Cain
18:05 – 18:12
So, essentially, you’re your top zip codes are really like your top performing areas, the areas that you really want to target.
- Robert Cain
18:12 – 18:25
And you can run several reports within service autopilot and again, like, if you have more questions later on in, you can ask me about that and I’m free to converse after the call in order to help you like, find what those are.
- Robert Cain
18:25 – 18:26
But at the end of the day.
- Robert Cain
18:26 – 18:29
Like we want to find out like what our average job size is.
- Robert Cain
18:30 – 18:39
And and and find out like where our highest quality clients are within that search and I’m going to I’m going to search by that zip code here.
- Robert Cain
18:39 – 18:49
Once I’ve got that information and then after I’ve pulled up that client list this is this is Justin personal landscaping account so and I’m actually using it but that’s outside of its area.
- Robert Cain
18:49 – 18:59
Which is why we’re not populating anyway, on the width but I just want you guys to kind of get a general idea to what I’m thinking here when we’re when we’re launching this campaign.
- Robert Cain
18:59 – 19:06
So, once I’ve typed in the zip code, I’m going to see a list of all the potential client that I want them to do.
- Robert Cain
19:06 – 19:17
And what I’m going to do is I’m going to bulk create once I’ve got those clients in there, and let me see if I can find a test customer.
- Robert Cain
19:23 – 19:25
Ok, so I’ve got this dummy customer right here.
- Robert Cain
19:26 – 19:30
And I’m going to bulk create once I’ve got that list.
- Robert Cain
19:31 – 19:38
And I’m going to add one of these newer tags that I’ve created that I’ve just downloaded here, which I’m going to show you.
- Robert Cain
19:39 – 19:47
I’m going to jump back to this other screen, because, again, like, I haven’t downloaded that, this automation and to Justin’s and Cynthia, but ultimately.
- Robert Cain
19:49 – 19:59
What you would do is you would add this specific tag to these to the client that contain this zip code, so that there’ll be in in this marketing campaign here.
- Robert Cain
19:59 – 20:02
So, let me jump back to my screen, so you can see what that looks like.
- Robert Cain
20:03 – 20:06
And so, now I’m back into this trigger set here.
- Robert Cain
20:06 – 20:08
I’ve got this run on date for when the …
- Robert Cain
20:08 – 20:13
Is going to go out, but there’s a condition that this tag is on.
- Robert Cain
20:17 – 20:18
Is on the client account.
- Robert Cain
20:19 – 20:35
And if this RSC RBS five a tag so essentially, I’m going to tag all the clients that I’ve pulled up in that zip code with the tag, the trigger for launching the female campaign is this run on date and all those that have this tag are going to receive it.
- Robert Cain
20:35 – 20:39
So this campaign it’s specific for your top compliance in that zip code.
- Robert Cain
20:40 – 20:41
I’m gonna go ahead and save that.
- Robert Cain
20:41 – 20:46
Now, within the automation we’re going to need to build out that this initial E blast.
- Robert Cain
20:46 – 20:52
So what I’m gonna do is I’m going to find the document that I I just opened up here.
- Robert Cain
20:55 – 20:56
Let me see if I can.
- Robert Cain
20:58 – 21:02
Inevitably, there’s always like speed bumps, and we’re doing presentations, right?
- Robert Cain
21:02 – 21:02
And so.
- Robert Cain
21:06 – 21:06
It’s pretty much.
- Robert Cain
21:18 – 21:20
Let me just save this, and I’m going to refresh here.
- Robert Cain
21:21 – 21:23
It looks like bed documents not popping up.
- Robert Cain
21:36 – 21:39
All right, so, there’s my RDS spring marketing campaign.
- Robert Cain
21:39 – 21:44
I also have a form that you’re downloading with that package, and I should be able to just type that up it.
- Robert Cain
21:44 – 21:56
Yep, so there’s my RBS training, spring marketing form, and I’m going to show you how those are going to interact with the client, receives a female, so the other thing that we’re making sure that we do is we set this between time.
- Robert Cain
21:56 – 22:01
So this is when your e-mail is going to get is scheduled to go out between nine AM and 7 0 PM.
- Robert Cain
22:01 – 22:06
And I recommend keeping that wide window because again, you don’t want to slow down the system at all.
- Robert Cain
22:07 – 22:12
Though you got your start date, you bet your your window of scheduled E blast that are going to be going out.
- Robert Cain
22:12 – 22:15
You need to make sure that you select your e-mail category.
- Robert Cain
22:15 – 22:17
I went ahead and just put in weekly special.
- Robert Cain
22:17 – 22:23
These are going to autofill your subject is going to audit the NAC, select your document, your document e-mail.
- Robert Cain
22:23 – 22:28
Then you want to just make sure that your company e-mail is selected from.
- Robert Cain
22:29 – 22:32
And then, this is going out to your client and lead contact.
- Robert Cain
22:33 – 22:34
So I’m gonna go ahead and save this event.
- Robert Cain
22:35 – 22:45
When you’re ready to launch this, and you, and you’ve checked it, and I’m going to show you guys how to edit, but when when you’re ready to launch, you’re going to just make sure that everything is activated.
- Robert Cain
22:45 – 22:56
I double-check everything, I’d like to read them or it goes out just to make sure that, like the automation is built correctly, but again, it’s always good to do a quick test on there as well.
- Robert Cain
22:57 – 22:58
So I’m gonna go ahead and save that segment.
- Robert Cain
23:01 – 23:01
Hello.
- Robert Cain
23:07 – 23:11
And we’re going to go ahead and take a look at that, the document that we created here.
- Robert Cain
23:11 – 23:19
So if you take a look, I’m not sure how familiar you guys are individually with using the document creator.
- Robert Cain
23:20 – 23:23
But essentially, again, in order to get there, we’re going to go to.
- Robert Cain
23:26 – 23:28
And search for documents.
- Robert Cain
23:30 – 23:30
And then.
- Robert Cain
23:33 – 23:35
If you just type in spring, this document will pop up.
- Robert Cain
23:35 – 23:37
So there’s your spring marketing campaign.
- Robert Cain
23:39 – 23:41
Let’s go back into edit the document.
- Robert Cain
23:41 – 23:56
So you can see here that I’ve already preloaded all the details for this campaign and essentially what we’re doing is we’re asking our top clients to allow us to put up a yard sign in their front yard.
- Robert Cain
23:56 – 24:00
And in doing so, they’re gonna say 50% off for the entire month of March.
- Robert Cain
24:00 – 24:03
And, again, like, this is just a campaign that I built.
- Robert Cain
24:03 – 24:04
You guys are free to modify.
- Robert Cain
24:05 – 24:11
And if you have any questions along the way, just let me know, but I just want you guys to be familiar with using the attempt to me.
- Robert Cain
24:11 – 24:20
I think that this is a great campaign, especially if you’re trying to really own specific zip codes within your area.
- Robert Cain
24:20 – 24:30
So essentially, like we’ve created verbiage that I think sensitive to a lot of your clients to let us know, hey, this is really what we want to do.
- Robert Cain
24:30 – 24:33
We’ve got a really non intrusive sign that we want to put up in your yard.
- Robert Cain
24:33 – 24:45
It gave them a sample of what that looks like and they’re going to get, like, pretty decent data you throughout the month of March, but we also have some follow-up stuff that’s going to go out in that area to really help this campaign out.
- Robert Cain
24:46 – 24:57
Um, if you take a look here in this, being a beginning paragraph is really what the client is going to use to agree to the terms of the campaign.
- Robert Cain
24:57 – 25:02
And again, I’ll walk you through what that, what that looks like, and how it’s going to interact with the automation.
- Robert Cain
25:02 – 25:11
I always put the call to action on the top of the e-mail if your client has questions or they want to reach out to you as we want to make it really easy for them to give us a call.
- Robert Cain
25:12 – 25:19
So in order to create a button like that, I usually just drag this row right here.
- Robert Cain
25:19 – 25:25
I’m going to select a button from the content tab and drag that in there.
- Robert Cain
25:26 – 25:29
Then I went ahead and just change the background color.
- Robert Cain
25:29 – 25:33
If you if you click on the text, you’ll be able to modify that.
- Robert Cain
25:34 – 25:45
You’ll want to go ahead and ensure that you change the link type to make a call, and then type in your company telephone number.
- Robert Cain
25:46 – 25:55
If you’re getting so granular to track where these leads are coming from, you may want to designate like, a specific marketing number, four e-mails.
- Robert Cain
25:55 – 25:56
I always recommend doing that.
- Robert Cain
25:58 – 26:04
And then, we’ll dive in a little bit to show you exactly how we can do some market tracking with.
- Robert Cain
26:07 – 26:07
All right.
- Robert Cain
26:07 – 26:08
I’m going to go ahead and delete that row.
- Robert Cain
26:08 – 26:11
Does anybody have any questions on documents and how to use them?
- Robert Cain
26:13 – 26:16
This is, this is your training guide, so if you do have questions, feel free to let me know.
- Robert Cain
26:16 – 26:17
I’m happy to answer those.
- Robert Cain
26:23 – 26:34
All right, looks like you guys are all savvy without that, so I’m gonna go over to my forms, and I want to show you the form that we’ve created to co-ordinate with this campaign.
- Robert Cain
26:34 – 26:42
You’re going to have it available in your instance once you’ve downloaded that content from the marketplace.
- Robert Cain
26:43 – 26:44
I’m going to go ahead and open this up.
- Robert Cain
26:48 – 26:57
And here’s my form form builder, and again you can modify that, I’ve, I’ve allowed it to show your specific estimate logo.
- Robert Cain
26:57 – 26:58
So it’s going to do download this form.
- Robert Cain
26:58 – 27:00
You should be able to see your logo here on the top.
- Robert Cain
27:01 – 27:08
Then we’re also mapping these fields, so this first and last name is being mapped to your clients first and last name.
- Robert Cain
27:08 – 27:16
So, when these e-mails get sent out and your client clicks on that form link and again to access that, you see our merge tags right here.
- Robert Cain
27:17 – 27:22
I’m just adding that form Mike in there, and I’ve also highlighted it and in bold and it.
- Robert Cain
27:22 – 27:27
So, I had bold and then I change the text color to blue just so it stand out a little bit more.
- Robert Cain
27:27 – 27:34
But ultimately when the automation goes out, when a female goes out, your client’s going to be able to click on this form link.
- Robert Cain
27:34 – 27:35
It’s going to bring them over to this form.
- Robert Cain
27:35 – 27:37
These are gonna auto fill.
- Robert Cain
27:37 – 27:38
This is really important.
- Robert Cain
27:38 – 27:46
That these are required fields, because if the client wants to change any of this information, like, it’s going to change in your intent.
- Robert Cain
27:46 – 27:52
Then this is probably something that we may not want to map, indicate that they do change their server address.
- Robert Cain
27:52 – 28:00
But, also, something that you’re off, your office people will want to will want to just make sure that they, they see this.
- Robert Cain
28:00 – 28:08
So, one thing that, that we aren’t doing when a client submit this form is we’re not creating on demand.
- Robert Cain
28:08 – 28:19
So, if your customer does, like, change anything on here, it’s not going to change anything on their individual account, but these things do need to be checked against their cap to ensure that the information is accurate on there.
- Robert Cain
28:20 – 28:34
So the, essentially, what your client is doing is, you’re going to say yes or no to this landmark, that 50% off March lawn mowing campaign and this gives them the details of what your expectations are.
- Robert Cain
28:34 – 28:41
And I didn’t include it in the, in the actual e-mail because I wanted the e-mail to be sort of like a soft communication.
- Robert Cain
28:41 – 28:52
But when we get down to the nitty gritty of things like we have expectations for our clients and we’re also not responsible if they incur like fees or fines or anything because they’re not buying their own community or to a guideline.
- Robert Cain
28:53 – 28:58
You’re going to want to change this X Y company right here to your company name.
- Robert Cain
28:58 – 29:00
But ultimately go ahead and read through this form.
- Robert Cain
29:01 – 29:05
And you’re free to edit or modify and change anything as you see fit.
- Robert Cain
29:05 – 29:09
Just make sure that we’re not changing this field right here because there is a tag allocated.
- Robert Cain
29:10 – 29:19
So, if I take a look at this condition here, if they do select yes, this is going to trigger something within the automation that you downloaded.
- Robert Cain
29:19 – 29:25
So make sure that you don’t modify that, and I’ll show you how it interacts with the automation one once they have submitted this form.
- Robert Cain
29:26 – 29:34
We’ve also put in like that, that I like the capability for them to request more information about other services that you guys may offer.
- Robert Cain
29:35 – 29:37
So you’re free to add additional items to that if you’d like.
- Robert Cain
29:38 – 29:44
Modify the, but again, you’re going to want to train your office people to make sure that they’re going through this form.
- Robert Cain
29:44 – 29:49
Once the client does submit this form, they’re gonna, you’re gonna get an internal e-mail.
- Robert Cain
29:50 – 29:55
And you guys can change these forms settings by hitting e-mail options.
- Robert Cain
29:55 – 30:00
And I just changed the e-mail subject in new spring marketing response.
- Robert Cain
30:01 – 30:02
Designated to the CSR.
- Robert Cain
30:03 – 30:07
But you’re going to want to make sure that you e-mail this to like your internal e-mail.
- Robert Cain
30:07 – 30:12
So if it’s like info at your company or service that your company just to ensure that your office people are saying that.
- Robert Cain
30:13 – 30:19
That way, when a client does submit this form, your optics people know, hey, I need to do something in response to the submission.
- Robert Cain
30:20 – 30:21
I’m gonna go ahead and cancel that.
- Robert Cain
30:22 – 30:26
Again, if you guys have questions afterwards or along the way, feel free to e-mail me directly.
- Robert Cain
30:26 – 30:29
For sure.
- Daniel
30:30 – 30:33
Is there a way to use merge tags in an e-mail subject line?
- Daniel
30:33 – 30:40
So for example, maybe we want to say, hey, John, here’s 50% off mowing services we think that you’d like.
- Robert Cain
30:41 – 30:42
Yep, absolutely.
- Robert Cain
30:42 – 30:50
So what you can do is you can access those merge tags through this link right here just to get the one that you’re looking for.
- Robert Cain
30:51 – 30:54
So if you want to select a specific merge tag.
- Robert Cain
30:54 – 30:56
You’ll just copy, copy that.
- Robert Cain
30:57 – 31:03
And then I’m going to edit the settings of the document, and I’ll go ahead and just paste that at the beginning of the document.
- Daniel
31:04 – 31:05
So yeah.
- Robert Cain
31:05 – 31:18
You’re free, you’re free to do that and it does work I usually like my like my subject line to pop and I mean if you see say 50% outlawing services from your landscape company you’re going to want to open that e-mail.
- Robert Cain
31:19 – 31:29
And then, like the first line, if they’re going to see when they actually receive the e-mail is their name, and then you’re the first part of that e-mail.
- Robert Cain
31:29 – 31:33
So, the first thing that I like to do it, especially with a campaign like this, right away.
- Robert Cain
31:33 – 31:35
Like, thank you guys, for being a customer first and foremost.
- Robert Cain
31:35 – 31:37
Like, it’s all about customer service.
- Robert Cain
31:38 – 31:42
And the fact that we’re bringing them in on this campaign is like a privilege.
- Robert Cain
31:42 – 31:43
For them.
- Robert Cain
31:43 – 31:48
But also it’s showing us, like, showing them our appreciation for being such a great customer.
- Robert Cain
31:48 – 32:02
And it’s crucial that like, we use burbidge like this, I feel like in marketing campaign because we want our client to want to want, to take advantage of this offer, but also not feel like offended by the offer itself, right?
- Robert Cain
32:05 – 32:08
Going back to the form once that form is submitted, excuse me, one SEC.
- Robert Cain
32:12 – 32:13
I’m gonna go back to the automation right here.
- Robert Cain
32:14 – 32:17
So, once this form is submitted, we have another trigger.
- Robert Cain
32:18 – 32:25
And essentially, we’re going to go ahead and modify this automation to ensure that this triggers going to be active.
- Robert Cain
32:25 – 32:31
So, a tag was at it, and we’re going to select that, that that sign tag.
- Robert Cain
32:31 – 32:42
So if the client is agreeing to the campaign, we’re going to go ahead and make sure that this automation triggers a response on our end, once the client has, has accepted that offer.
- Robert Cain
32:42 – 32:44
So I’m going to go ahead and save this sequence.
- Robert Cain
32:45 – 32:52
And then, what I’ve done is I’ve created a to-do here, and you’re going to want to assign this to your office person.
- Robert Cain
32:53 – 32:57
So, I’m going to go ahead and select a person within my office that I want these to do, is to be assigned to.
- Robert Cain
32:58 – 33:07
And, and I’ve created this custom to do body, so when you open this up, the to do that’s going to be created, that’s associated with that client account.
- Robert Cain
33:08 – 33:11
The title is the spring marketing yard campaign checklist.
- Robert Cain
33:12 – 33:18
First of all, like the client name is agreed to post a guard time for the month of March to ensure that they are added to the marketing lead to resign production.
- Robert Cain
33:19 – 33:23
Then please assign it to do for the crew to post the yard sign prior to March first.
- Robert Cain
33:23 – 33:33
Please discount the client’s recurring mowing services for the month of March, using their tablets remarketing campaign, and you can create these discount codes in your in your service autopilot.
- Robert Cain
33:33 – 33:41
And then you also have the ability to mark that off as a marketing or advertising expense within your QuickBooks account.
- Robert Cain
33:41 – 33:42
So I, I absolutely recommend doing that.
- Robert Cain
33:42 – 33:45
Because essentially, it is a marketing expense.
- Robert Cain
33:46 – 33:52
But the idea, again, is to really dominate that area that you’re you’re trying to market to at this point.
- Robert Cain
33:52 – 34:04
So we’ve got our to do so this covers the backend array like our customer service representative is going to know exactly what to do and, and and there’s some accountability in terms of like what they need to deal with that client account.
- Robert Cain
34:04 – 34:08
So, we want to fully enable them on, on, on what they should be doing.
- Robert Cain
34:09 – 34:20
I have A a drive link for you guys to access some of the information I’m sharing with you here.
- Robert Cain
34:20 – 34:21
Let me just copy this and paste it.
- Robert Cain
34:21 – 34:23
I’m going to chat it over to everybody.
- Robert Cain
34:25 – 34:34
So this has, this has some of the graphic that we’ve been using in that document that you guys just saw.
- Robert Cain
34:34 – 34:37
So in this document, we’ve got the March maniac graphic.
- Robert Cain
34:38 – 34:39
They’ve got like the yard sign graphic.
- Robert Cain
34:40 – 34:42
And there’s also PSD file.
- Robert Cain
34:42 – 34:47
So if you guys are familiar with Photoshop, you’re going to be able to go and edit, edit the document.
- Robert Cain
34:47 – 34:57
So you can put your own logo on there, change your, your Azure, your e-mail, or your website address, and and your phone number for these yard signs.
- Robert Cain
34:57 – 34:59
So let’s go ahead and go into that drive.
- Robert Cain
35:00 – 35:06
So we’ve got our our yard sign for the document and then you’ve got your yard sign for that four.
- Robert Cain
35:08 – 35:15
To be able to modify and Photoshop, right, and then the other part of this campaign and we’re gonna get into it then Jim theft.
- Robert Cain
35:15 – 35:23
But I don’t know if any of you guys have done Jim activated right now but that’s going to be another part of this campaign that we’re gonna, we’re gonna walk through here real quick.
- Robert Cain
35:24 – 35:26
So, let me go back into the automation.
- Robert Cain
35:28 – 35:30
Let’s just make sure that I’m on track.
- Robert Cain
35:32 – 35:32
Ok, cool.
- Robert Cain
35:33 – 35:34
Next is send Jim.
- Robert Cain
35:34 – 35:41
So the next part of this this automation here is, is getting our five rounds out.
- Robert Cain
35:42 – 35:42
All right.
- Robert Cain
35:42 – 35:54
So the trigger for this is ensuring that jobs that are dispatched within a certain area are going to have this five around campaign setup.
- Robert Cain
35:55 – 35:56
Ok, and just bear with me here.
- Robert Cain
35:56 – 36:00
And again, if you guys have questions along the way, let me know, but I’m just going to, like, dive right into it.
- Robert Cain
36:00 – 36:12
So, what you’re going to want to do is make sure that the select services that your clients are signing up for are the trigger for, for this automation to start running.
- Robert Cain
36:12 – 36:12
So.
- Robert Cain
36:14 – 36:16
The hobby has a question.
- Robert Cain
36:16 – 36:19
Can we use this for re-occurring firebrand yeah, you can.
- Robert Cain
36:20 – 36:27
I would just sort of take a look at the process here just to ensure that like it fits with what you’re trying to do.
- Robert Cain
36:27 – 36:30
And again, if you have questions afterwards, you can, you can let me know.
- Robert Cain
36:31 – 36:46
So, so essentially any clients that are dispatched with a specific job but are also within that target area remember that, that tag that we added to those plants that are better within those zip codes?
- Robert Cain
36:47 – 36:51
Like so, a specific job is dispatch and those plants are within that specific area.
- Robert Cain
36:51 – 36:52
Right?
- Robert Cain
36:52 – 36:54
So, that’s when these five rounds are gonna go out.
- Robert Cain
36:54 – 37:02
We’re also going to make this for all active plant and open leads because we don’t want to necessarily, I just always recommend that as a rule of thumb, is, just acted plants.
- Robert Cain
37:02 – 37:05
You don’t want inactive clients being put into these automation.
- Robert Cain
37:05 – 37:07
But we’re also going to restrict entry.
- Robert Cain
37:08 – 37:14
So we don’t want the same client, and their neighbor is getting the same five rounds, right.
- Robert Cain
37:14 – 37:16
So we’re going to restrict entry to one type.
- Robert Cain
37:16 – 37:18
So I’m gonna go ahead and save this the grant.
- Robert Cain
37:19 – 37:20
You guys will need to adjust to that.
- Robert Cain
37:21 – 37:27
But then, we’ve also created a marketing campaign, and I’m going to go into another screen here, so you can take a look.
- Robert Cain
37:30 – 37:31
E.
- Robert Cain
37:35 – 37:38
So let’s go back into my Qlik sense.
- Robert Cain
37:38 – 37:41
So here’s this quick scan that I created for you guys.
- Robert Cain
37:41 – 37:46
You guys can go ahead and download that from the drive.
- Robert Cain
37:46 – 37:48
If you have your …
- Robert Cain
37:48 – 37:53
Account set up you’re going to want to walk through this process here I’m going to go ahead and go to Mac.
- Robert Cain
37:55 – 38:03
And then I’ve got my custom postcard in there but let me open it up so you guys can take a look at it.
- Robert Cain
38:03 – 38:04
Give me one second here.
- Robert Cain
38:08 – 38:09
I’m going to go back to my other screen.
- Robert Cain
38:16 – 38:22
So, here’s the, here’s the postcard that’s going to be sent as a five round to your clients neighbors.
- Robert Cain
38:22 – 38:24
So, we’re still in March mania.
- Robert Cain
38:24 – 38:30
Your clients, neighbors are also gonna get this 50% discount offer on all lawn maintenance services.
- Robert Cain
38:30 – 38:36
The idea is to get as many people like obviously into your campaign as possible.
- Robert Cain
38:37 – 38:42
And, we’ve got a little promo code here that they’re going to need to reference when they take advantage of this offer.
- Robert Cain
38:42 – 38:43
Again, the PSD file.
- Robert Cain
38:43 – 38:48
So, you guys can modify the URL and your logo and your phone number and all that stuff.
- Robert Cain
38:49 – 38:53
There’s also a back Saturday postcard as well with the phone number and e-mail address.
- Robert Cain
38:54 – 38:55
So you’ll want to modify that.
- Robert Cain
38:55 – 38:57
It was just a quick backside that I made.
- Robert Cain
38:57 – 39:00
I didn’t even realize that they’re allowing it to do backed by a lot.
- Robert Cain
39:00 – 39:06
And then Jim, like it was like their own custom backside of the postcard, but it’s kind of cool that they’re allowing that.
- Robert Cain
39:06 – 39:19
So I’ve got some more terms for this postcard so your client any new leaves that you get there, they they are going to be under the understanding that they have to have a 90 day agreement, so this is this is just a verbal agreement.
- Robert Cain
39:19 – 39:21
It just so you know, set.
- Robert Cain
39:22 – 39:23
Like the expectation.
- Robert Cain
39:23 – 39:27
Hey, we’re gonna go ahead and give you the 50% after the month of March, but at the end of the day.
- Robert Cain
39:27 – 39:29
We really expect you to become one of our client.
- Robert Cain
39:29 – 39:39
And in order to ensure that we want it like 90 day agreement and then for you guys on your end, services will not exceed one hour of maintenance.
- Robert Cain
39:39 – 39:51
So if your client has a huge property, like you’re not going to be responsible for being there for three hours and losing money on that though, again like this is really just helping you guys out to ensure that you’re getting the most out of the campaign.
- Robert Cain
39:53 – 39:55
Let me go back to my automation.
- Robert Cain
39:56 – 40:03
So, I’m gonna go ahead and make sure that me just show you how we’ve added it to on this side right here.
- Robert Cain
40:03 – 40:06
I’m going to just drag this marketing feature on there.
- Robert Cain
40:07 – 40:14
Delete that one and then I’m going to select, I’m going to select my marketing campaign, which is the RBA training.
- Robert Cain
40:15 – 40:26
And this is going to the neighbors and I’ve got five neighbors that are going to be receiving this this postcard here, so I’m gonna go ahead and save that event.
- Robert Cain
40:26 – 40:42
In terms of your time, guys, I always recommend, like trying to source these yard signs from somebody local, but again, you have the opportunity to edit that graphic, and you can order signs directly through the grant, your upload, your own graphic.
- Robert Cain
40:42 – 40:44
If you want to just make it simple.
- Robert Cain
40:44 – 40:54
But you may be able to get a little bit cheaper price, at the end of the day, like mid campaign is going to it’s going to cost some money if you want to know, like do it to its fullest.
- Robert Cain
40:54 – 40:58
But like that, know, that sort of goes without saying.
- Robert Cain
40:58 – 41:02
And really if you want to, if you want to own your target area like you’re gonna need to invest a little bit.
- Robert Cain
41:02 – 41:03
I think.
- Robert Cain
41:03 – 41:10
But just making sure your office people and your your field people are like all on the same page before launching a campaign.
- Robert Cain
41:10 – 41:13
That’s really going to be one of the most important thing.
- Robert Cain
41:13 – 41:15
But at the end of the day.
- Robert Cain
41:15 – 41:17
Like I feel like this could absolutely be successful.
- Robert Cain
41:19 – 41:21
Do you guys have any questions right now?
- Robert Cain
41:21 – 41:25
In terms of like how to get this started or anything that maybe I didn’t cover, that you’re looking for?
- Robert Cain
41:30 – 41:33
I’m going to go ahead and open it up to you guys if you have anything here.
- Robert Cain
41:42 – 41:43
Me go back, sorry.
- Robert Cain
41:44 – 41:47
The chat here, I don’t see any questions coming in.
- Robert Cain
41:47 – 41:49
That means that it looks like I did a pretty good job.
- Robert Cain
41:51 – 41:52
T HOBY has another question.
- Robert Cain
41:54 – 41:55
Ok, yeah.
- Robert Cain
41:55 – 41:58
So what type of file are the graphics and how do we edit them?
- Robert Cain
41:59 – 42:01
So, we have several different file types.
- Robert Cain
42:01 – 42:14
So we’ve got these jpegs samples, so you know, like the file sizes that I’m using with the document at least in the light e-mail campaign.
- Robert Cain
42:15 – 42:17
But Dan, like this yard sign right here.
- Robert Cain
42:17 – 42:19
This is a PSD file.
- Robert Cain
42:19 – 42:24
So you can edit these in Photoshop and there’s different layers to them.
- Robert Cain
42:24 – 42:29
So you can see like where there’s like a logo layer, you’ll be able to go in there and and modify that.
- Robert Cain
42:31 – 42:38
Is a everybody, like, have a graphic person that they’re using, or any, you know, are you guys familiar with using Photoshop?
- Robert Cain
42:47 – 42:51
